Yera` Cuba's Fishing Champion & Our Guide "
Day One Arrive Cancun, Mexico. Depart for Havana
at either 12:50 PM or 7:30 PM via Aerocaribe (Mexicana) Airlines. (50
minute flight time). You lose an hour going over due to time zone
change. (Option of staying in Cancun the previous night so you can
make the early flight the next day to Cuba.) Private transfer to the
five star, Hotel Nacional De Cuba. Welcome cocktail and cigar
reception. Dinner (Depending on departure time from Cancun) at
Havana's most popular, Restaurante El Aljibe.
Day Two Breakfast.
Depart (3 1/2 hours) in private, air-conditioned van with
English-speaking guide and driver (or rental car) to Hotel Los
Helechos. Only 40 minutes from your first fishing site at Lake
Hanabanilla. Meet fishing guides, including Samuel Yera, (Cuba’s
bass fishing champion as featured in June 2003 issue of Field &
Stream magazine). Afternoon fishing session. Dinner at the
hotel.
Day Three Breakfast.
Morning fishing session. Lunch at Rio Negro Falls. Afternoon fishing
session. Dinner at the hotel.
Day Four Breakfast. Depart (6 hours) to Lake Leonero. Lunch en
route. Afternoon fishing session. Dinner at the Hotel Sierra Maestra.
Day Five Breakfast.
Morning fishing session. Lunch at the lake. Afternoon fishing session.
Dinner at the hotel.
Day Six Breakfast. Morning fishing session. Lunch at the lake.
Afternoon fishing session. Dinner at the hotel.
Day Seven Breakfast. Depart for the airport at Holquin City (1
hour). Depart Holguin at 1:00 PM for a flight to Havana. Private
transfer to the Hotel Nacional De Cuba. Dinner at the private and
classic, Club Havana (Formerly the Biltmore Yacht Club).
Day Eight Breakfast. Depart for Cancun, Mexico at either
8:00 AM or 3:50 PM depending on your flight connections to the USA.
Option of an additional day in Havana also available and will
include: Breakfast. Private Partagas factory tour followed by a cigar
& mojito cocktail reception with Partagas President, Sr. Abel Diaz
in the President's smoking Salon. Lobster lunch at Hemingway’s
favorite “haunt,” Restaurante El Floridita (Where the Daiquiri was
invented). Dinner and cigar reception on the patio at the ocean side

La Davina Pastora. Evening
