Sports
In 1993 my "1st Hemingway Sports Classic" in Havana, Cuba, opened doors and established many historical sporting relations. We produced the first USA/Cuba soft ball game, First Hemingway fishing tournament and the first 10 KM running race in Cuba history. The race was hosted by the world 10 KM champion Mr. Arturo Barios.

"GHIBLI" which is a hot, very dry, sand laden wind which can raise the temperatures in a matter of hours to between 40 deg. C and 50 deg. C, occasionally blows into the usually humid coastal towns. The wind is most noticeable in Western Libya and is often associated with the spring solstice.
